Transportation fluid slides

Characteristics and application :

Transportation air slides are used for transportation of dry non-adhesive powdered materials (e.g. raw material flour, cement, fly-ash) and they are determined for installing into inclined transport ways of technological lines, especially in building materials production. The equipment is designed as dustproof. The allowable temperature of transported material is at normal construction up to 100°C, at special construction up to 130°C.

Dimensions and parameters :

Type range of transportation air slides is designed in 7 basic sizes (see tablet on data sheet). Decisive criterion for using in transport way is required capacity in relation to inclination of fluid slide.

Description of construction : 

Transportation air slide has in cross section profile of a four square tube devided with a microcellular fabric in material and air channel. Transported material comes in material channel, aerating air comes in air channel and it runs above through microcellular fabric, it aerates the material, which moves (slides) in direction of fluid slide inclination. Standard inclination slope of fluid slides is 6%. The air running above material is on suitable places exhausted. A fan station is used as air supply, which is placed in a closed room or on a place with minimal dustiness. The station is connected with fluid slide by means of a piping and a reducing piece. The fluid slides are delivered in parts(sections) and are made from a normal steel St-37 (class 11 acc. CZ-Standard ČSN). The complete transportation fluid slide consists of air inlet opening and material inlet flange, inspection opening, socket for exhausting (dedusting), special microcellular fabric, connecting and sealing material, supports.
