Roll closing gates

Characteristics and application : 

Roll closing gates are intended for installing in inclined (in the space of 50°up to 90° from horizontal level) and in vertical transporting ways (gravitational chutes) of powdered and fine grained (up to 5 mm), loose or aerated materials in technological lines, especially in building materials production. It serves for a quick shutt-off of product in following horizontal or vertical transporting ways. This equipment is designed first of all for milled, powdered materials and it is dustproof. Temperature of dry transported material can be from –30 up to +100°C, at powdered materials with humidity max. 1% is work temperature from 0° up to 100°C.

Dimensions and parameters : 

Type range of roll closing gates is designed in 8 basic sizes (see tablet on data sheet). Grain size of material and required capacity in relation to clear area acc. to tablet is main criterion for application in transport way (0 – 5 mm, sporadic graines max. 10 mm). Distance control is ensured by means of pneumatic or electrical drive.
Delivered VU is equipped with drive elements from prestigious suppliers acc. to recommendation of producer, alternatively acc. to wish of customer.

Description of construction : 

Roll closing gates are designed for installing in inclined and in vertical gravitational chutes of square profile for quick shut-off of material flow in technological line. Inside roll is actuated by means of rotary pneumatic or electric drive of equivalent size corresponding to necessary torsion moment. Manually or distance controlled distributors and valves are supplied with VU in case using of a pneumatic drive. For pneumatic operating of VU there is necessary to ensure conditioned air.
