Characteristics and application :
Bar shut-off gates are intended for an operational and emergency cutting-off and regulation of material flow from hopper-outlet, silos and similar equipment. They are suitable to wide range of granular materials with grain size within the range 10 mm and more, in technological production lines of lime stone, aggregates and similar products. It is not suitable to use this type of gates for dust materials. Opening and closing is manual.

Type range of bar shut-off gates includes 5 sizes < from 400 x 400 mm to 1000 x 1000 mm > ( s. tablet – project data sheet ). After technical-business discussion it is possible to order except these sizes a special type of construction.
Description of construction :
Bar shut-off gate has usually square section, at atypical design it has rectangular section (clear opening). Closing is ensured through a round bars, manually operated. The bar shut-off gate frame is welded from U – steel sections. The closing bars, which are into the frame inserted, go through two round openings and are leant at the end position against L – steel sections. Inserted bars can have different pitches (slots) for different grain sizes of materials.
Used material :
Construction of single products is conditioned by physical properties of material, for which they are specified. The frames and shutting bars are usually made from a normal steel (class 11 acc. CZ-Standard ČSN). In case of special requierement we can use an wear-resistant or anticcorrosive steel.
